- 1-2 tsp light brown sugar, depending on how sweet you would like it
- 2 oz Irish whiskey
- 4 oz hot coffee, or enough to leave half an inch for cream
- heavy whipping cream
Spoon light brown sugar into glass and pour whiskey over it and stir. Pour hot coffee over mixture and stir until sugar dissolves. In a shaker, or in a bowl with a whisk, briskly mix the cold whipping cream for 5-10 seconds, a few longer if you use the bowl, then slowly pour into the coffee over the back of a spoon, floating it on top.
