Slow Cooker Ribs

It doesn't matter if it is cold or raining, you can still have ribs

Ingredients

  • Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs
  • 3-4 pounds baby back ribs
  • Your favorite rib rub, or something like this:
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoon salt
  • ½ tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 cup + more for serving of your favorite bbq sauce

Directions

Remove the silver skin (If you don't know how, here is a pretty good tutorial: http://www.finecooking.com/item/16067/how-to-remove-silverskin-from-ribs) Rub down your ribs with your rib rub, then place the ribs with the bones vertically along the edge of the slow cooker. Cook them on low for 7-8 hours. Toward the end, feel free to add slather them in BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
